In the morning, we played more Monopoly Zapped and had a great breakfast. After a while of playing, Eric and Olivia's mom came to take them to a soccer camp. We said goodbye and they left. Later in the afternoon, my mom took the rest of us to Alec, Margot, Sophie's house.
Since we had nothing going on we went to Sunset Beach. It is a great beach, but there were stingrays around. We talked to the lifeguards and they told us that there were some stingrays there, but if we shuffled our feet then they shouldn't bother us. It was a little scary at first, but then we went into water because we didn't see many. It was really fun because we caught a lot of waves and nobody got stung! We all had a great time!

Sherbert floats for dessert??? Sounds so YUMMY!!! Monopoly Zapped - do you get zapped if you land on a certain square? That would be a scary kind of Monopoly. You are brave to go in the water with stingrays around. That was very good advice to shuffle your feet because I heard stingrays only attack when they are pinned down, so when you shuffle, there is less chance of you stepping on a stingray buried in the sand. You really sound like you are having a fun summer. Enjoy your last few days before school starts up soon. You are going to have a great time in the 6th grade!
ReplyDeleteThanks! The sherbet floats were really good! The Monopoly Zapped was regular Monopoly but you use a iPad app and play with credit cards instead of paper money. It is a fun game. The stingrays were a little scary but we took the lifeguards advice and didn't get stung. I'll write a post about 6th grade soon. I hope its easy!
